About NIRMA UNIVERSITY

In 1994 the founder of the Nirma Group of Industries, an internationally acknowledged entrepreneur, Padma Shri Dr. Karsanbhai K. Patel crystallized his long-cherished dream of establishing world-class institutions for professional education in Gujarat. He founded Nirma Education and Research Foundation (NERF), which, in turn, has established many leading institutions offering undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level programs. Functioning under the aegis of NERF, the university presently includes Institute of Technology, Institute of Management, Institute of Pharmacy, Institute of Architecture, Institute of Science, Institute of Commerce, Department of Design and Institute of Law. All these institutions have emerged as centers of excellence offering various programs ranging from undergraduate to doctoral levels in technology and engineering, management, pharmacy, science, law, and architecture. Considering the quality of education being imparted, the Nirma University was established under the act passed by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Gujarat in April 2003. This development witnessed the merging of all the institutes under the NERF into a single entity of Nirma University. The University has been recognized by the University Grants Com-mission (UGC) under section 2(f) of the UGC Act.

About Institute of Management

The Institute of Management Nirma University (IMNU) was established with a mission to be one of the best B- Schools in the Asia –Pacific region by promoting excellence in management education. The institute ranks among the top 25 Business Schools of India. IMNU has got SAQS Accreditation from AMDISA in January 2018. The Institute’s flagship program is the residential two year MBA program. It also offers an MBA in Family Business and Entrepreneurship and a BBA-MBA (five years integrated) Program. Ph.D. Fulltime and Ph.D. (external) are also offered by the institute. In addition, IMNU runs several Executive Diploma Programs, Management Development Programs, In-House Training Programs, and Consulting Services. The Institute has linkages with foreign institutes in Germany, South Korea, and Malaysia. The Institute has established close ties with the industry through its outreach activities.

About ANVESH

The Institute organizes ANVESH - Doctoral Conference in Management every year since 2005. It provides a platform to the doctoral students from different areas of business management to directly interact with peers, exchange ideas and discuss methodological and theoretical issues. As a part of conference, Research Clinics and Research Workshops are also conducted. It assists doctoral students in the pursuit of their research, as they get valuable feedback and suggestions from experts.

ANVESH 2015 witnessed 104 abstracts, 64 full papers, 55 delegates and 48 paper presentations. ANVESH 2015 organized 2 workshops and 5 research clinics. The conference proceedings were published in form of two books titled "Research Trends in Economics, Finance and Marketing" and "Research Trends in General Management" with ISBN Number which contained 33 selected research papers.
ANVESH-2016 witnessed 91 abstracts, 57 full papers, 50 delegates and 49 paper presentations. This year conference had 4 workshops, 12 track sessions with 49 presentations and 6 research clinics, over the two days conference. The conference proceedings were published in the form of two books titled "Research Trends in Marketing and General Management" and "Research Trends in Economics, Finance and HRM" with ISBN Number which contained 41 selected research papers.
ANVESH-2017 witnessed 92 abstracts, 68 full research papers, and 48 paper presentations. This year conference had 2 workshops, 11 track sessions with 48 presentations and 2 research clinics, over the one and half day conference. The conference proceedings were published in the form of two books titled "Research trends in Economics, Finance, and General Management" and "Research trends in Human Resource Management and Marketing" with ISBN Number which contained 31 selected research papers.
ANVESH-2018 witnessed 87 abstracts, 52 full research papers, and 49 paper presentations. This year conference had 2 workshops, 8 track sessions with 49 presentations and 2 research clinics, over the one and half day conference. The conference proceedings were published in the form of two books titled "Research Frontiers in Human Resource Management" and "Research Frontiers in Finance and General Management" with ISBN Number which contained 40 selected research papers.
